  7. thanks, but do have the icon in my taskbar for an upgrade The only requirements for the free Windows 10 Upgrade are that your device is compatible, and you’re running genuine Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 Windows 10 is designed to run on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 PCs. That means your device is likely compatible and will run Windows 10. This is from microsoft site, windows 7 is compatible http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/windows-10-faq?&SEMID=1&WT.srch=1&ocid=Win10Upgrade_SEM_GOO_MSBranded_ACTV_en-US_sitelink&wt.mc_id=Win10Upgrade_SEM_GOO_MSBranded_ACTV_en-US_sitelink&SEMID=1&WT.srch=1&ocid=Win10Upgrade_SEM_GOO_MSBranded_ACTV_en-US_windows%2010&wt.mc_id=Win10Upgrade_SEM_GOO_MSBranded_ACTV_en-US_windows%2010
