New Quote Game

1,544 posts in this topic

TWO THINGS TO REMEMBER:

NB!!! No repeats.

Don't forget to underline your word within your quote

for the next “poster” to use.

Example:

"Love is the beauty of the soul".

(Now underline any word within the quote for the next "poster" to use.)

e.g. "It's beauty that captures your attention; personality which

captures your heart".

(Here you will see that I have used the underlined word "beauty"

from the previous quote & underlined a word for the next "poster" to use.

Now begin the next quote with HEART (as long as it appears

within your quote). Easy as pie!!! :)

Ernest Dowson:

They are not long, the weeping and the laughter,

Love and desire and hate:

I think they have no portion in us after

We pass the gate.

They are not long, the days of wine and roses;

Out of a misty dream

Our path emerges for a while, then closes

Within a dream.

Robert Heinlein:

But goodness alone is never enough. A hard cold wisdom is required, too, for goodness to accomplish good. Goodness without wisdom invariably accomplishes evil.

Hi Gill :) I enjoy this type of game, takes a bit of effort but worthwhile...

not everybody likes chess for example!!!

"Nothing that was worthy in the past departs; no truth

or goodness realized by man ever dies, or can die".
