I have had the Reimage icon on my desktop since it was first recommended by you guys...my computer has been running slow of late, despite my using my programs such as Reg Mechanic, de fragging, cleaning up disks ect...so I took the plunge and bought a key to use the Reimage program...
it did take a long time, between the analyzing and the actual fixing, about 3 hours. I noticed someone else asking about dis abeling her programs such as Avast, Spyware ect...since the reimage program did not mention anything about disabeling programs for it's scan and fixing, I didn't...and I had no problem running it...the scan it does for checking for maleware, virus ect. took the longest to run.
Anyway, once it was all done, when I used my computer, especially for browsing web sites...everything is running much faster and I cannot be happier with the results...thank you for the recommedation...it as well worth the cost of $65.00.
But...now I would like to know a couple of things...
I just ran my Reg Mechanic and it showed about 37 errors that need repair...a few of which, I noticed are from Reimage...if I use RM to clean my registry now...will it un do all the good that Reimage did?

I guess that's all I need to know at this point...I assume running my de frag won't un do anything...but I am in need of knowing what to do about the Reg.mechanic program.

THANK YOU

J, I would go ahead and use the registry mechanic and clean up what is there. You should not have any problems. Just be sure you have the restore feature so you can add back if there is a problem, but most likely there will not be.

Thank you, Ben David...I figured that it would be OK, but needed to be sure. One other thing about the Reimage...do you use the PC Booster from Reimage? I have it running, but I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not...just curious as to what your take is on it.

Thanks again.

J, The PC Booster detects the program you are currently running and speeds it up. The Reimage PC Booster tracks your real time activity - your mouse movements and clicks. Once you have the Booster installed it starts by itself. Your PC is immediately boosted! Notice the Reimage PC Booster's rotating cube icon in the system tray area. The faster the cube is rotating, the harder the Booster is working. All the above was from the site and this is part of the program you need to insure the system runs faster, etc. etc.

Thanks again, Ben David...I have been watching the little square...I'm not sure if my puter running faster is the Reimage fix or the Booster...maybe a combination of the two?
I've tried a few so called boosters in the past, saw no difference in my puter, so got rid of them. Maybe I'll try a experiment and disable the booster and see what happens...I can always start it up again!!

You have yourself a wonder day...
